Crystal Lake Intake and Pump Station Improvements

Description: Central Iowa Water Works (CIWW) is requesting statements of qualifications from consulting engineering firms to prepare a design study for permanent improvements to the Crystal Lake Recharge Pump Station, Crystal Lake Pump Station, and Crystal Lake Intake as part of its Capital Improvement Plan. The study will establish operating requirements and a design basis, evaluate alternatives, develop preliminary concepts and cost estimates, and provide information needed to proceed to final design. Submissions are limited to 15 pages and should emphasize firm and proposed personnel qualifications, comparable water-facility experience, project understanding, and team availability; a detailed work plan or developed design solution is not required.
