Valencia Water Reclamation Plant - Ground Improvement for Middle-Section Retaining Wall
The project scope includes ground improvement work along the existing 1,200 LF middle section of the retaining wall. The primary work consists of constructing Cement Deep Soil Mixing (CDSM) walls and secant pile walls with ground anchors on the riverbank within the easement area adjacent to the plant. The project also includes rehabilitating two plant outfalls, which will involve demolishing and replacing existing concrete pipes, slip-lining an existing concrete pipe with a new FRP pipe and replacing an existing headwall structure. In addition, riprap will be installed near the southern end of the middle-section retaining wall.
