Bike Study Policy (Statement of Qualification)

Description: Seeking statements of qualifications from qualified and experienced firms (hereinafter "proposer") to develop a bicycle study policy that establishes objective transportation metrics, standards, and implementation thresholds for bicycle infrastructure projects to guide future decision making by council and city staff. The policy will build upon the city's complete streets policy, bike master plan, vision zero plan, and methodologies previously approved by the city council through prior bicycle planning efforts while incorporating community input and best practices from peer agencies. In addition, consultant shall provide the city with guidance on implementation of protected and parking-protected bicycle facilities.
